Here at the hotel with have a prime opportunity to work with local farmers, food producers and retailers to give you the best locally sauced menu. Our breads are baked in Diggle at the Saddleworth Cookery School, and our diary products are sourced from Saddleworth Milk, a local farmer based within Saddleworth and only delivers to this area.
We use a local retailer to get our fruit and vegetables and our meat is supplied from butchers based in Uppermill who ensure his stock is all British and where possible from the North West of England.
When your wanting a fresh pint from the moors we would recommend that you sample Tiger Rut, a local cask pale ale first brewed in 2006. This poplar local beer is brewed less than 5 miles away from the Hotel and offers you a refreshing bitter ale with aromas of grapefruit.
